Sir Graham Balfour in Stafford were the kind hosts for the Biology Subject Experts Day last Wednesday.
Our trainees were provided with several sessions, based around Microscopy and Cells. Beth Collins, our fantastic Biology Subject Expert, guided our trainees through these topics, providing expert guidance of the subject specific pedagogy and offered practical advice for our trainee on issues that they have faced in their school placements.
The sessions also had the trainees looking down the microscope at iodine stained onion cells (x400 magnification – see below).
We’d like to thank Sir Graham Balfour and Beth Collins for their hospitality and their wonderful session, along with Nev Bradshaw for his photos and information provided.
