Blackfriars Teaching School – Induction & Appropriate Body

Calling all Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs) and their employing schools!

The new qualified teacher (NQT) induction process is designed to offer new teachers support and guidance in their professional development after gaining qualified teacher status (QTS).  The induction period usually takes one year – although this could be extended to two years after recent DfE proposals – and acts as a bridge between your initial teacher training and your teaching career. It’s designed to ensure that you receive the right development, support and monitoring as you begin to teach.

With that in mind, Blackfriars Teaching School is an Appropriate Body for Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs) in England. They are able to deliver a high quality and flexible package to support your NQTs.  All meetings will be held in Staffordshire and will provide your NQTs with the opportunity to network and collaborate with other colleagues.

If your school would be interested in accredited assistance with supporting your NQT’s through this important year, please download their flyer here or visit their website here.
